Winter Athletes Recognized this Week

DS Students participate at the Albany Regional Brain Bee

Doane Stuart Concludes Fall/Winter Chess Tournament

Seventeen students from the middle and upper schools, along with three faculty members, competed in Doane Stuart’s Fall/Winter Chess Tournament, which was played over several months. Congratulations to Star City Games Modern Classic Champion Lucas Molho, DS ’14

In Philadelphia, earlier this month, Lucas Molho ’14 burned through the Magic the Gathering Modern Classic Top 8 with Mono-Red Prowess, eventually beating William Moody on Ad Nauseam in the finals. The Modern Classic elimination rounds were also diverse, with Prowess being the only deck to show up twice. Way to go, Lucas!
