 James Cole, President of the Board
Algonquin College, Ottawa, Canada (Information Technology, 1982)    James has been a part of the Doane Stuart community for over 17-years, as a parent of Morgan ’07, Liz ’19, and Bryan ’25. His experience includes management roles with Microsoft, Oracle, and Deloitte Consulting/DRT Systems, he is currently a Director at Regeneron. James is also an active volunteer with Make-A-Wish and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Kate is the parent
of Andon ’27, Ani ’29, and Aren ’31.  Kate is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for The Arc New York located in Latham, New York.  She practices law in the areas of disability, guardianship, and non-profit corporations.  Prior to her work at The Arc New York, Ms. Jerian worked for a number of years litigating toxic tort matters on behalf of injured children.

Accounting 1992)                                     Don is a lifelong resident of Rensselaer County where he resides with his wife and three children.  He has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Arc of Rensselaer County since June 2018. Don joined the organization in 1999 as the Chief Financial Officer.  Previously he worked for Vanderheyden Hall as Director of Finance, and a Staff Accountant for United Jewish Federation of NENY.

John is the parent of Claire ’89, Leanne ’94 and Greg ’98. John had a distinguished, more than 30-year long career in banking. He retired from the position of Managing Director of Government Banking at FleetBoston Financial Group in 2002.
