Founded in 1975 through the union of two historic schools—Kenwood Academy (est. 1852) and St. Agnes School (est. 1870)—Doane Stuart carries forward a legacy of academic excellence rooted in both Roman Catholic and Episcopal traditions. Today, we honor that heritage through our unique interfaith approach, welcoming students of all beliefs into a community that celebrates diversity, dialogue, and mutual respect.
