Cotton candy. Scooter races through inflatable palm trees. Beach ball volleyball.
Oh, and a bouncy castle in the gym.
Yes, Friday was Conge, the annual day chosen by the seniors for students to take a break from studies and participate in a day of games and activities. Seniors surprised the student body with the announcement with confetti, candy, and airhorns. This year’s theme was Hawaii, so the students transformed Doane Stuart from the Commons to the hallways into an island paradise, with many students in Hawaiian shirts and leis. A long long standing Doane Stuart tradition, Conge remains one of the most beloved days in the school calendar.
