Capital Region Poetry Slam
Entering its fourth year in 2026, the Capital Region Poetry Slam has become a signature Doane Stuart community event—and a powerful platform for student voices. Hosted annually on our campus, this high-energy, interschool competition brings together student poets from across the Capital Region to share original work that speaks to their experiences, passions, and hopes for the world.

Celebration of the Arts
Entering its second year in 2025–2026, the Celebration of the Arts is a regional visual art show hosted by Doane Stuart that showcases the talent and creativity of students from schools throughout the Capital Region. Each year, a panel of guest artists judges the submissions, recognizing outstanding work with awards.
- Features diverse mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media
- Highlights emerging young artists and encourages artistic growth
- Builds connections between schools and fosters community appreciation for the arts
