Vincent O. Vispo ’20 named a Commended Student in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program

Vincent O. Vispo ’20,  of Ghent, NY, son of Claudia Knab-Vispo and Conrad Vispo, has been named a Commended Student in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from The Doane Stuart School and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, will be presented by Head of School Cecil Stodghill Jr. to Vincent, who is one of only 34,000 students of the 1.5 million students eligible nationwide to receive the honor.

Although Commended Students do not continue in the 2020 competition for National Scholarship Awards, they are among the top 50,000 scorers who entered the 2020 competition by taking the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT.)
