We are excited to share that Jaydan Ganeles ‘23 not only completed the ACE mentor program, but his team was awarded first-place finish. Founded in 1994, the ACE Mentor Program of America (ACE) is a free, award-winning, after school program designed to attract high school students into pursuing careers in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry, including skilled trades. Jaydan began the program in October, and worked with four other freshmen to design a building that could withstand an apocalypse, and learned the skills of building, planning, and construction along the way. “I got to meet new people, and learn how real-world buildings are made. It ended this March with the awards ceremony.” Jayden also let us know that “they had free pizza and wings every time we went.” Sounds like a win all around then! Congrats again, Jaydan, we couldn’t be more proud!
