Doane Stuart Named a 2025 Best Place to Work by the Albany Business Review

Doane Stuart is proud to announce that we have been named one of the Albany Business Review’s 2025 Best Places to Work!  This recognition celebrates organizations across the Capital Region that have built cultures where employees feel valued, engaged, and inspired to do their best work.

Each year, the Albany Business Review partners with Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Nebraska, to survey employees from nominated companies. A significant number of employees must participate and rate their workplace highly for an organization to qualify — making this award a true reflection of our faculty and staff’s experience and commitment to the Doane Stuart community.

This year’s honorees span industries as diverse as education, law, technology, and construction — but all share one key ingredient: a culture that energizes and supports the people who make their mission possible.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from our faculty and staff,” said Marcy Cathey, Head of School. “At Doane Stuart, our mission is to nurture curiosity, compassion, and confidence — not only in our students, but also among the adults who guide them. This award affirms that we are succeeding in creating a workplace where people feel connected, supported, and proud of the difference they make every day.”

Now in its 22nd year, the Best Places to Work awards program drew more than 100 nominations, with 60 organizations selected as winners in 2025. Doane Stuart joins a distinguished group of small and medium-sized employers recognized for their outstanding workplace culture.

All winners will be celebrated at the Albany Business Review’s Best Places to Work event on Thursday, December 11, at the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road, and featured in the publication’s December 12 issue.
