We offer a distinctive academic experience for students in Pre-Kindergarten, Middle School (Grades 5–8) and Upper School (Grades 9–12). Our 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio allows for deep collaboration between students and teachers. This small class size makes it possible to tailor instruction to each learner’s strengths, interests, and goals. Students are encouraged to pursue independent studies, engage in meaningful dialogue beyond the classroom, and explore their unique paths as learners.

For more than 50 years, Doane Stuart has nurtured young minds from PreK and beyond. In every grade, students are guided to master foundational knowledge—and then go further. Our approach encourages them to ask “why?”, explore “how?”, and imagine “what if?”
Through inquiry-based projects, experiential learning, and real-world applications, students become active participants in their own education.
