At Doane Stuart, we believe that a child’s earliest school experiences set the tone for a lifetime of learning. Our Pre-Kindergarten program for ages 3–5 offers a joyful, nurturing environment where curiosity thrives and foundational skills begin to take root.
Designed to support each child’s development—academically, socially, and emotionally—our PreK classroom provides a seamless transition into elementary school. Every day is filled with opportunities to explore, create, and grow.
A Foundation Built on Curiosity and Care
Our PreK curriculum blends play-based learning with age-appropriate academic foundations. Children build early literacy and math skills, while also learning to communicate, collaborate, and develop independence.
Key Elements of Our PreK Program Include:
- Phonological Awareness – the building blocks of reading
- Basic Math Concepts – counting, patterns, and number sequence
- Creative Play & Movement – encouraging imagination and physical development
- Leadership & Presentation Skills – building confidence from an early age
- Hands-On Sensory Experiences – fostering connection to the world around them
- Daily Outdoor Play in Nature – exploring, observing, and learning outdoors
- Baking & Food Preparation – practicing fine motor skills and cooperation

- Aftercare: $30/day or $600/month
