Students and faculty had the opportunity to tour the Green Roof for the first time on Tuesday, November 4. The tour was part of a special all-school morning meeting led by the students in Ms. Forster’s Green Roof Class. The students presented the benefits and features of our roof while also also doing a skit with the Thunder Chicken. After the presentation, Mrs. Clarke and Mrs. Brown made the surprise announcement that the entire student body would have the chance to go on the roof and walk around the paths. After everyone had toured the roof, students and faculty reconvened in the Commons to celebrate the completion of the roof with a piece of green roof cake.
