In the Boys’ Baseball Team’s first win of the season, an 11-1 victory over Loudonville Christian, Kyle Jakovic pitched a complete game with 6 strikeouts while giving up no earned runs.  Henry Smith went 2-3, with a single and double, 2 rbi and 2 runs scored.  Ben Caso and Emil Napier both collected their first Varsity hits in the win.
In Tennis news, the team’s No. 1 Singles player, Jackson Regan (Jr.) has been accepted into the Section 2 Individuals Tournament scheduled for May 20 – 24 at The Central Park Tennis facility in Schenectady.  Jackson currently has a 4-1 W-L record. He earned an impressive 6-4, 6-2 victory at Ichabod Crane HS over Jan Carl Galia (the No. 9 Seed in the Section 2 tournament in 2018) on Thursday, May 2nd.

The Boys Tennis Team will compete during the week of May 13-17 in the Class C/D Team Sectional tournament as well.  Other players making significant contributions this year are Monica Gault, Nico Boulos, Pierce Leonardi, Neil Hassett, and Bob Geoghehan.
