Outing Club First Outing

Finally, the Doane Stuart Outing Club made their trek in the sunshine.
So they could find year round snow.
For their final ramble of the school year, the Outing Club this past weekend hiked to The Snow Hole, a deep crevasse in the Taconic Crest Trail. Located east of Petersburg, NY, near the Vermont and Massachusetts borders, the crevasse is the entrance to a small cave fifty feet at its lowest depth where snow can be found deep into summer.
