The Doane Stuart School mourns the loss of Mrs. Jane Golub

The Doane Stuart School mourns the loss of our dear friend, Mrs. Jane Golub. Jane has impacted the lives of children at Doane Stuart and all over the Capital Region. In 2012, as grandparent of Ira Golub ’15, Jane, along with her husband Neil and daughter Mona, named and dedicated our Chapel as The Golub Interfaith Chapel. The Chapel was dedicated to Doane Stuart’s values of faith, tolerance, and respect. Doane Stuart was proud to join the Golub Family in becoming a No Place for Hate School in 2012. Jane was involved in many charitable endeavors in the Capital Region and beyond. Jane and Neil have been recognized by Doane Stuart, Girl Scouts of America, the Albany Colonie Chamber of Commerce, The Woman’s Fund, University at Albany Foundation’s Citizen Laureate Award, and MiSci, just to name a few. Doane Stuart and the Capital Region has lost a great friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Golub Family.
