Tuition & Financial Aid 2010 - 2011 Academic Year

We have welcomed students of every faith and socio-economic background since the nineteenth century. In this demanding environment for schools, we have maintained the percentage of students who receive significant financial aid (40%, well above the national average). Expanding our commitment to serving students from every economic quarter of our regional society and remaining true to our mission as a coeducational, interfaith, college preparatory school, has been essential to our success and the success of our students.

To allow the School to determine your family’s eligibility for Financial Aid, you must complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) through School and Student Services (SSS). SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). You may visit the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) at http://sss.nais.org/parents/ and complete the required form online.

In addition to submitting the PFS a copy of your 2009 tax return and W2s must be submitted to SSS. Doane Stuart’s school code is 2878.

All aid is in the form of a grant. A Financial Aid grant will not be awarded until a student has been accepted at Doane Stuart, however, an application for Financial Aid can be completed at any time, and families are encouraged to initiate their Financial Aid application when they begin applying to the School. Because Doane Stuart operates within a Financial Aid budget, funds are allocated in the order in which Financial Aid applications are received. The earliest possible completion of both the Application and Financial Aid process is highly recommended. Please contact the Admission Office at (518) 465-5222, ext. 209 or ext. 210, for Financial Aid information.
