Doane Stuart teachers design the daily SCAMP curriculum to include the traditional three R’s (reading, writing and arithmetic) as well as science, arts, music and more – all wrapped up in fun! Our teachers make learning to read and to solve problems exciting, and they make exploring the physical world natural.
The SCAMP day is structured to accommodate our working parents and the needs and wants of families and kids. SCAMP opens at 7:30 AM, with the core of the day between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and activiies continue until 5:30 PM.
SCAMPers play in the gym, on the school’s outdoor playgrounds and field, and run between sprinklers for cooling off and enjoy pertinent field trips that add to learning.
