Art Teacher Mr. Michael Van Winkle is one of seven artists whose work will be on exhibit in “Still Eden: Artists in the Realm of Nature.” The show is at the Collar Works Gallery with an opening reception on Friday, May 26, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The reception is part of the monthly Troy Night Out event for May.

Taking inspiration from Thomas Cole and Hudson River School artists, the show is a contemplation of “the current cultural fixation with place.” Pieces will explore artists’ relationships with nature and the environment.
